About GSSC
Gregory-Seahurst Swim Club is a private (members and their guests only) swim and tennis facility located south of Seattle, Washington, in the city of Burien.
Opened in 1959 through the efforts of local residents, it is a non-profit
corporation run by its membership through a Board of Trustees. GSSC emphasizes its kids and teens.
Member families total approximately 330.
GSSC operates between May and September. Its grounds contain a six-lane, 25-yard swimming pool with diving board,
a small wading pool, two tennis courts, and a tennis practice-wall area. The main
building houses men's and women's changing rooms and pool office. Bleachers line
one side of the big pool and there's a raised barbeque area adjacent to its
shallow end. We provide snack service at selected times. Off-street
parking is available for a limited number of cars.
Gregory-Seahurst's tennis team competes in USTA events. The 150 member swim and dive teams are part of the Seattle Summer Swim League. GSSC and other local swim clubs host the league's events.
Swim and tennis lesson programs are available to both members and the general public, either as part of a group or individually.
No GSSC memberships are available for purchase at this time, and many families are on our wait list.
We'll add your name to this list for a $10 fee. Expect to wait one to two years to reach the top.
